What is it?
Microsoft Power BI is a data visualisation and exporation tool that allows users to create and share interactive reports and dashboards. It is part of Microsofts business intelligence suit and is a rapidly growing platform that is used by many top companies around the world. By using Microsoft Power BI we can build highly valuable data-driven visualisations to help eCommerce stores gain clarity, direction and grow online.
Why do I have to sign up for an account?
Microsoft Power BI is created to be shared across organisations and users via microsoft accounts so we cannot simply ‘invite’ you to join. Instead, we request that you sign up for a free account (with free trial for the pro version). You will not need to enter any credit card information. Once you have done this, please send us your account email so we can share the reports with you.
How do I sign up?
Step 1:
Go to https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/get-started/ and click ‘try free’. You will need to sign up with a work email address (not a personal email such as gmail).
Step 2:
Notify your Gapwise Consulting contact of the email account you signed up with so the reports can be shared with you.
